Public Road

Reckless driving is a menace to traffic safety. Always stop, check left and right before proceeding.

Do not be less cautious when driving in light traffic. Assuming that "no vehicles are coming" court dangerous situations. Always prepare for the unexpected specially in blind corners.

Stop. Check left and right.

See and be seen.

  1. Stop before the stop line
  2. Slow move ahead to the point where safety on the left and right can be confirmed, i.e. the front part of the motorcycle can be seen by other vehicles.
  3. After confirming for other vehicles or pedestrians, start moving-off.

Be careful of the "Thank you" Accident Situation

  • Rider wants to turn into the restaurant along the other side of the road.
  • The courteous driver of the car reduces speed to give way to the rider with a gesture, "Please go ahead."
  • Do not turn immediately. Be conscious of other motorcycle or bicycle behind the car.
  • As receiver of this polite gesture, riders sometimes lose attention and act swiftly.
  • This is called the "thank you" accident situation.
